Coffee at Tazza d’Oro

Tazza d’Oro is my to go place to have coffee near The Pantheon in Rome. (Sant’Eustachio is next!)

The Roman Bar offers a wide range of coffee and pastries with impeccable service.

One of the best part about visiting Tazza d’Oro are the prices! You would expect nothing less than €3 for a cappuccino here but you’ll be surprised to see the rates are Tazza d’Oro are not over the top. A cappuccino here costs around €1.3! (prices can vary now)

I love you, Rome!

Of course there’s the usual caffe` which you can drink standing at the Bar -for even less!

If you end up visiting Tazza d’oro, I highly recommend you to try their granita al caffe`- essentially a dark coffee iced slush with tons of cream!

Tazza d’Oro is a coffee wonderland right next to The Pantheon. Here you can buy moka pots, coffee capsules, coffee cans and coffee jute bags.

I bought the popular “Regina coffee” for my brother in law and he loved it!. There’s also a special combo for the Classic Moka Pot.

Did you know??

Tazza d’Oro is allegedly the café that inspired the owners of Starbucks to open a coffee chain. So even if you are not the biggest fan of coffee, it is worth venturing here to see what got the owners of Starbucks so intrigued.

Tazza d’Oro has a vending machine too!

The last time I was in Rome we rented an apartment near the Campo Di fiore so I could go to Piazza Navonna often and fulfil my dream to have dinner near the Pantheon for my birthday. It was magic. I probably did have coffee at Tazza d’Oro but not sure. We love Italy hey.
